Inspired by the skin texture of the stingray, the Taccia Natural Reserve - The Aquatic Limited Edition Coral Sea is, along with the companion Sapphire River pen, being produced in just fifty numbered pieces worldwide. Each pen is hand-finished in the traditional craft center of Wajima on the west coast of Japan.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your personal preferences, and our optional nib customizations can give your writing on the page a distinctiveness equal to this pen's unique appearance. We are an authorized Taccia dealer.
Provided with a 14k solid gold two-tone nib manufactured specially for Taccia by the Sailor Pen Company, the Coral Sea Limited Edition has a convenient cartridge-converter filling system - it can use either Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges, or any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter.
Wajima-jinoko, the traditional soil used for lacquerware production in Wajima, is combined with urushi lacquer to create the distinctive surface of this pen. Each pen has required months of time-intensive work in order to be produced.
