Aurora offers greater variety in their nib styles than any other company.

The Optima is a well designed and solid writing instrument. On the practical side, the cap lip is reinforced with a strong band that gives the pen both balance and strength. The pocket clip is simple and sturdy.

Notice the ink view window, letting you know when the piston filled barrel is getting ready for a refill.

The blue celluloid reminds us of a darkening sky as it shimmers and reflects light. Light and dark blue colors rise and fall as the pen is rotated. This is a product of the iridescence in the body material which reflects at different angles. Rhodium, a very tough plating, coats all of the metal on this pen, creating a cool white high tech surface.

This pen comes with a solid 14K gold nib plated with rhodium, and is available in EF, F, OF, OFR, M, OM, OMR, B, OB,OBR, BB, Stub and Italic. We can add some flexibility to this already somewhat soft 14K nib ($65 extra)..
