Nakaya has completed a brand new dragon by using the Ryukyu(Okinawa) Tsuikin technique.
The Ryukyu Tsuikin has been founded by using a hint of the Tsuishu technique from the 1700's. |

In Tsuishu technique, a craftsman rubs several colors of Urushi lacquer ware into the layer and engraves it to express an accumurated colors. Ryukyu Tsukin technique, a craftsman mixes pigment with Urushi like a rice cake and makes a shape. After that, the craftsman cuts using a knife one by one and pastes it to the body of the pen.

The body is Ebonite, lacquer ware is Wajima roiro finish.

of the dragon. |

can provide a Platinum converter used to fill this pen with ink in either the
simple form or the painted "goldfish" design for an additional $21.00
The
Nakaya nib, imprinted Nakata, the family name of the manufacturer is made of solid
14K gold.

Each of these nibs is suitable for our customization to extra
flexible. The medium and broad tip can be customized by us into cursive italic,
stub or oblique points.
