Yukari Tropical Fish
In April 2008, this pen will be discontinued by Pilot-Namiki.
|
 |
| The Yukari Tropical Fish enters a floating
world. Water plants sprout above and below the subject of this pen. The water
fronds wave and twist. |
 |
| Here the artist digs into
the deep stillness, where movement is subtle and color intense. |
 |
Available in Fine or Medium 18k two-tone nib, these pens
are superb writers, usually a little finer than European points of the same name. |
| |
| |
The pentagonal Namiki logo appears on the clip as well as
on the nib along with a rhodium Mt. Fuji. Splashes
of gold dust remind us of bubbles rising up from the bottom.
Note the muted intensity of the submerged water orchid. The silence and stillness
are palpable. The artist's signature
in red is below the calligraphic description of this design. |
This pen comes with
Namiki's highest quality converter, in fact this is the best converter filling
system we have seen anywhere. It also comes with a bottle of Namiki ink and a
single ink cartridge. We suggest, if you use cartridges, that you get more.
A
nicely designed softwood inner presentation box surrounds this pen. |
