The 360 Collection

The original triangular fountain pen was made in the 1930's by the Triad Pen Company which stayed in business only a few years. lasted a few years. Because of the delicate nature of the plastic, as well as the unique design, the Triad is very rare today. (People broke the caps of the Triads by trying to twist them off.) Omas improved on the Triad design by incorporating the Greek Key design around both the cap lip and the barrel section; these bands offer greater strength, especially to the cap lip.
We recommend the caps not be posted on any 360 pen. They are big enough so that they do not need it.

Omas 360 Vision Bronze with gold trim

360 Pearl Grey Hi-Tech
Although the material is not new (you've seen Omas' Pearl Gray celluloid before), the unbroken expanse of this three sided triangular pen shows off the pearlescence far better than in the faceted version. Available with an EF, F, M, B, or BB rhodium-plated 18K nib.

"Dear John,
I arrived at work today to find my new pen waiting for me, and I have only one word for you: PERFECT! As you described to me, the pen writes like a fine tip, but with a nice bit of line variation to provide some character. The flow is very consistent with light pressure, and I can write at full speed without difficulty. Also, I have to say, I have never seen a photo of this pen that does it justice. The depth of the pearl grey celluloid is amazing. Thanks so much to both of you for taking the time on the phone to ensure that you understood what I was trying to convey. Did you keep a writing sample of this nib? I have a feeling I will be ordering another one like it sometime in the future.
Thanks again!! David Shin" (12/14/05)

360 Blue Royale Hi-Tech
All of the 360 Collection pens on this page are the "large" size 5 7/8 inches long, capped. The Blue Royale nitrocellulose has been reborn in this 360 shape, showing off the pearlescent quality Omas does so well. According to the U.S. distributor this pen has been discontinued, and there will be no more comming in from Italy. The supplies are very low.

360 Blue Black with Gold trim

This pen is so dark that it could easily be mistaken for solid black however it has a coolness to it, evidence of the blue. Without natural light and/or a black pen to compare it to, this pen reads as black. As with all 360 pens it is a standard 6" full size and is available with a two tone 18K EF, F, M, B or BB nib. Best Regards,

If your 360 isn't comfortable for your writing style...
We can help.

The distinctly triangular shape of the 360 makes it a pen you either love or hate because of the way it fits your hand (or doesn't fit) for writing. But we are able to help by offering to set the nib at different positions around the section. John is in the process of developing a diagram for these different nib settings and we'll incorporate it into this page as soon as it's available. For now, if you would like a 360 from us, just let us know if the factory placement of the nib is suitable, or if you need it rotated one way or the other. No charge for this service with the purchase of a pen.

We will make this alteration to any 360 you purchase from us at no extra charge the first time within six months of purchase. Additional adjustments would need to be charged, half-price for the initial alteration, full-price after that, but no waiting in the queue. If you would like to send us your 360 for this nib rotation, the cost would be our normal $20 pen charge, plus $35 (an exacting procedure), and return shipping. This work would have to go in our queue.
