| The Saffron is the most controversial color in our Omas catalog. This is the gold trim version which, unfortunately, seems no longer to be available. Because
these pens are only available from Europe, they are very hard to find in the USA.
"I have just received the Pelikan M850 and the OMAS Saffron Blue celluliod. I am particularly impressed with the OMAS. It is much more interesting "in the flesh" than in any picture. As you know, I have several of the OMAS celluloid pens and in addition to being wonderful writing instruments they are works of art that enhance the writing experience. This is the Saffron Blue with Hi-Tech rhodium trim and rhodium-plated
18K nib. We were not even aware that this version of the color was available until
we received the last shipment of pens from our supplier. The white metal trim
actually enhances the pearlescent material in the pens and is quite attractive.
We have only two of these and may not be able to get any more. Please call (323-655-2641)
