Pelikan Kuala Lumpur Limited Edition
This is a limited edition pen numbered 317. This barrel has the logo of the XVI Commonwealth Games. There were 888 pens manufactured (Asia Edition) in the issuing year of 1998.

The Commonwealth Games 1998 were held for the first time in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. There were 888 (a very lucky number in Chinese tradition) pens in this edition which commemorates the gathering of 67 nations for the glory of sport.

An 18 karat gold sleeve adorns the barrel which is gracefully enhanced by an ornamental design of the hibiscus, Malaysia's heraldic symbol.

It has an 18 karat, two-tone nib set in an ebony black pen and is built on the M800 frame.

With its differential piston mechanism you can rely on having tried and true technology in this unique fountain pen. This mechanism was developed by Pelikan and permits the clean, even flow of ink. The refilling ritual allows you to savor every moment you hold this extraordinary writing instrument in your hand. And, finally, with a piston-type pen, anyone who appreciates aesthetics pays tribute to the true product culture of a real fountain pen.
