M805 Black with
silver trim |
 |
This Pelikan M805 is very formal in black resin
and white metal. This pen, as well as all
those below, takes the entire range of M800 nibs from
extra-fine to triple broad and is highly suited to stub, italic
and oblique customization. At just over 5 1/2" long,
capped, with a barrel diameter of a full 1/2", the pens in
this series are slightly larger than standard. The retail price
of this pen, and all those below (except the M850), is $485.00.
Our Price: $388.00
(Our distributor tells us that the M..05 series
(the 405, 605, 805 etc.) will be discontinued in the not too distant
future. This vague warning should serve as a wake up call to those
who would regret not getting one when they are gone.) |
M805 Solid Blue
with silver trim |
 |
| The M805 solid blue with silver trim has been discontinued
and is no longer available through our US distributor. Because it
does not have the usual black cap, this was a departure from the
rest of the series. We have obtained a small number of these pens,
and we are selling them for $485.00. |
M805 Blue Stripe
with silver trim |
 |
| The only difference between this pen and the M800
Blue, pictured below, is the silver trim. |
M800 Blue Stripe

M800 Red Stripe

 |
This is Pelikan's RED!
It is now available in the M800, M600 and M400 sizes.
Although the pen comes stock with
an 18K nib unit, we can do any modification you would like to
the points: italic, stub or oblique.
We do not encourage adding flex to these 18K nibs.

M850 Green with
vermeil cap |
 |
| We have, once again, managed to acquire a few of these
out-of-production 800 size pens with vermeil caps (gold over sterling
silver). They are NOS (New Old Stock) and come with presentation
box and papers. The barrel can be the traditional Green stripe,
as above, or solid Black. If your color preference is more daring
you might want to try this gold cap with a Blue Stripe or even Red
Stripe barrel. The full range of 18K nibs,
EF to O3B, is available. While they last our price is $480.00. |
M800 Green Demonstrator |
 |
|
| |
 |
| We do have a Pelikan M800
L.E. Green Demonstrator Ballpoint #478/850. This pen is
in excellent condition with only two tiny mars on the nose cone
to keep us from calling it near mint. The spring looks a little
uneven but the mechanism is fully functional. At 5 9/16 inches long
with the point extended, it weighs 27 grams. For anyone lucky enough
to have the L.E. fountain pen, here's the matching ballpoint. Our
price $395.00 |
M800
Old Style (discontinued)

| (Ed: this arrived as
a hand-written note) "Dear John & Pat, Thank you all for
the prompt service on this beautiful pen (Ed: an M800 Blue). It
is beautiful (my first Pelikan) and it writes wonderfully. It is
a little larger than I am used to, but I am acclimating quickly.
I use it daily and am glad how it writes (starts) without hesitation.
I consult a dictionary often and the pen never hesitates when I
begin. Josh, thank you for the patient knowledgeable guidance as
the nib modifications are a first for me. I am e-mailing less and
writing letters more. I am really enjoying it. Sincerely, Frank
Fowler" (received 2/27/04) |
| "The Pelikan (ed:
M800 Red with enhanced OM nib) is great fun. This is the first altered
oblique that I have owned, and having written with it for a few
days, it has become clear that the factory obliques that I have
(one Montblanc and one Pelikan) are just too wimpy. This one is
exactly what I wanted. With the crispened nib, it took more attention
to line angle than unmodified obliques, but its so responsive.
The line is smooth, but the sharpening gives it a touch more tooth,
which is quite enjoyable. " (Terry Lee Sheppard, 9/13/03) |
