The hand crafted design incised into a sleeve of solid 925 sterling silver depicts on one side a pelikan with its bill wide open and the gullet fully exposed. The other side is of a pelikan and it's young.

When John was in Frankfurt at the stationary show this year, he watched an engraver cutting designs on the barrel of these pens, each one is different, showing hand work. It comes with a certificate which is hand numbered and signed and a very lovely understated presentation box.
