BCHR and has a lever filling system. It has a singe-tone gold
Fine super-flex nib. This pen is in Fair condition. It has a repaired crack
in the cap. (We do not recommend posting the cap as it could reopen the crack).
It has some wear on the barrel (the chasing and imprinting are soft). This fountain
pen has a patent imprint on the cap stating "Pat. July 5 1904". It measures
5 1/8 inches capped and weighs 12.5 grams. This pen is not much to look at an

Wahl Eversharp Green Marble, gold filled trim, ring
top, lever fill, and a 14K #2 EF super-flex nib ca.
1925. This fountain pen is in Fair condition. It has some discoloration from ink
and slight brassing on lever and ring. There are scratches and scrapes on the
bands. The fine super-flexible nib is what makes this pen an intriguing writer.
This pen is 4 1/2 inches long capped (including ring) and weighs 13 grams.

Item #E-493 is a Wahl Pen mini gold-filled ring-top. At only 3 1/3" long, capped, this tiny pen would be a wonderful functional pendant on a lady's necklace, as originally intended when manufactured in approximately 1926. The linear pattern cap and barrel have no dents or dings and only a small amount of brassing around the bottom and top edges, visible in the scan above. The "0" size nib has a Fine point. Ink Shut-Off" Trivia: As air travel became popular in the 1930's Wahl
designed the "Safety Ink Shut-Off" feature to prevent ink leaking from
their pens at high altitude. Wahl advertised this ink shut off extensively. However,
the advertising backfired. This shut-off system worked so poorly that the U.S.
Government intervened and forced Wahl to cease its claims. | ||
