Nakaya Desk Pen Stand Sumi
The matte black sumi surface on the desk stand employs the same techniques as applied to the Nakaya sumi fountain pens. This is a challenging surface to get right and Nakaya crafts people are the ones to do it.
Nakaya's Deskpen stands aren't just for use with Nakaya Desk pens. Any of Nakaya's regular Writer and Cigar model pens can also, in cap-off position, be used in these stands.
Nakaya also indicates that the these Deskpen Stands can be used with pens made by other manufacturers. These include the Aurora Optima, Mini Optima, Talentum, and 88; the Caran d'Ache Dumas and Leman; the Cross ATX and Verve; the Lamy Persona, 2000, Accent, and Ambition; the Montblanc 146; the Parker Duofold Centennial; the Pelikan M1000 and M800; the Platinum President and Briar; the Sailor 1911; and the Waterman Exception, Edson, Expert, and Phileas.
Paired with the matching Nakaya Deskpen in Sumi Black (sold separately), this deskpen stand allows you to display your deskpen with elegance. The deskpen stand features a base and trumpet made using the time-intensive Sumiko process. Any of Nakaya's regular Writer and Cigar model pens can also, in cap-off position, be used in these stands.
