The Pilot CON-40 Converter allows you to use your choice of bottled fountain pen ink in any Pilot or Namiki brand cartridge-converter fountain pen. It replaces the now-discontinued CON-20 and CON-50 Converters. Tiny metal balls serve as agitators to prevent air locks and reduce ink retention inside the converter.
