Available from us as a special order item, the colorful Aurora 888 Burano Limited Edition has been produced in just 888 numbered pieces worldwide. We can provide this pen with your choice of Aurora 18k solid-gold rhodium-plated nib unit.
Our complimentary nib tuning ensures that your Aurora fountain pen will have writing qualities equal to its beautiful appearance, and our optional nib customizations can add to the character of your writing on the page.
Part of Aurora's "Secret Journey To Italy" series, the 888 Burano Limted Edition takes its name from this small, picturesque island located near Venice. Inhabitants of Burano have long painted their houses in bright colors to aid boats in locating the island during thick fogs, and the pen's multi-colored appearance renders homage to this tradition.
Hand-assembled in Italy, the cap and barrel have been produced in Auroloide, Aurora's proprietary cellulose acetate material. Aurora's high capacity piston-fill system allows for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink.
The pen ships in an attractive themed presentation box, and a bottle of special edition purple ink is also included. We are an authorized Aurora dealer.
