Arriving in October and now available for pre-order, the new Pilot Vanishing Point 2023 Limited Edition Kanreki is being produced in just 2023 numbered pieces worldwide. Normally made available with only a Medium nib, we can provide this pen with your choice from among the full range of Pilot Vanishing Point 18k solid gold black-plated nib units. Vanishing Point Limited Editions often sell out very quickly, and we strongly recommend pre-ordering as soon as possible.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences. Pilot 18k nibs also provide an excellent starting point for many of our most popular customizations, including the modifications for Stub, Cursive Italic, and Architects Point.
Pilot celebrates the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the capless Vanishing Point fountain with this special limited edition. Kanreki is a term used in Japanese culture to celebrate a 60th birthday, and has connotations of rebirth and renewal - apt symbolism for a pen which is constantly being refined with new colors, trims, and special add-on features.
The ballpoint-like click mechanism on the Pilot Vanishing Point allows the nib to extend and retract, while a hidden trap-door mechanism guards against dry-out. A cartridge-converter pen, the Vanishing Point can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter, and can also use convenient Pilot-Namiki brand ink cartridges, now available in more than twenty carefully nuanced colors. Extra nib units with converters are available from us and are easily interchangeable at home.
Each Kanreki Limited Edition ships in a special presentation box which includes a historical timeline of the Vanishing Point series and a starter ink cartridge in Blue. We are an authorized Pilot dealer.
