Arriving in mid-October 2023, the new Sailor 1911 Full-Size Andromeda is a study in warm brown, glittering silver, and sultry black ion trim. Normally provided with only limited nib choices, we can equip this pen with your choice from among the full range of Sailor 21k solid gold black ion-plated nib units, in sizes ranging from Extra Fine to Broad, Music, and Zoom.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences. Sailor 21k nibs also provide an excellent starting point for many of our most popular customizations - choose broader nibs for best results with customizations such as Stub and Cursive Italic, and the Zoom nib for our noted Architects Point modification.
The new 1911 Ringless Galaxy series introduces five pens inspired by celestial wonders of the universe. Besides showcasing all the design and engineering expertise for which Sailor is so well known, these pens are also extremely attractively priced - for an introductory period, these pens are actually priced lower than all other 1911 Full-Size pens currently available.
Each pen features a lustrous metallic finish highlighted by silver glitter in the cap and barrel. The color of each pen is inspired by the hues of astronomical objects spread across our galaxy, while black-ion trim and plating underscores the deep space them. The ringless design, which omits the metallic ring normally included at the base of the cap, accentuates the sleek beauty and elegant simplicity of these pens.
Sailor's cartridge-converter system allows each pen to fill with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter. They can also use convenient Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges, now available in over thirty different carefully nuanced hues.
