Chinkin technique has a history stretching back hundreds of years, and the skilled artisans in Wajima have here used it for an affectionate and colorful portrait of a family cat. Gold powder is used to fill in the carefully hand-etched chinkin lines, and a rare use of color is made for the yarn and wool balls.
Nakaya pens use a convenient cartridge-converter filling system - a reusable converter, provided by us free of charge with your purchase, can allow for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink, and the pen can also use Platinum brand disposable ink cartridges.
Each Nakaya pen ships in a special softwood presentation box which includes a fabric pen kimono and starter pack of ink cartridges along with the converter.
