Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts pressure and ink flow to your personal preferences. Optional nib customizations can further add to the character and distinctiveness of your writing on the page. We are an authorized Nakaya retailer.
Every individual Nakaya pen is the final product of a multi-step artisanal process. From the pen body, carefully turned from naturally harvested ebonite hard rubber, to the nib itself, hand-crafted in a process requiring over twenty individual steps, each aspect of assembly and design is the result of a unique fusion between traditional craft techniques and modern capabilities.
The convenient cartridge-converter filling system allows for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink with the reusable converter, provided by us free of charge. The pen can also use Platinum brand disposable ink cartridges. A softwood presentation box with fabric pen kimono and a starter box of ink cartridges is also included with your purchase.
