In line with Nakaya's favoring of natural materials and simple, streamlined shapes, the Briarwood Collection combines briarwood and urushi lacquer with warm gold trim.
The smooth black non-threaded section is perfectly tapered and provides a comfortable grip for most users, blending seamlessly with the black Urushi barrel. As with many objects made to last a very long time, this wood material in combination with the lacquer barrel will only grow richer with use.
The pen can be furnished with any of the complete range of Nakaya 14k nibs. These smooth-writing 14k nibs are also well-suited to customizations including Architect's point, Stub, Cursive Italic, or Left Oblique.
