I just got this pen as a gift to myself for passing a required seminar for my Ph.D. program. The green demonstrator is a beautiful pen with the nib perfectly tuned by John's team. It's currently one of three fountain pens I own (Pilot Custom 823 M with CI modification by John, Lamy 2000 EF, and this in MF). It's the smallest of the three and the line width is very close to the Lamy EF. I can see why people rave about Sailor's finer nibs, as these make clean lines while giving a good sense of what's happening to the paper (feedback). By no means is the latter an unpleasant sensation--this Sailor let's you know that you are writing.
