Aurora Calligraphy Set

The set consists of eleven Blue Optima Auroloide with gold trim fountain pens. Each pen has Calligraphy engraved on it followed by the tip size.
Just like Pelikan nib units, these Aurora nib units can be interchanged by you at home. The table below shows the width and the height of each tipping surface. Notice that in the case of the Oblique, Stub and Italic nibs the width is much greater than the height. This provides the line width variation that so many of us like. These 14K nibs are suitable for added flexibility customization ($65 extra).

	EF This extra fine point is taller than it is wide, giving slightly more width on the cross stroke. .25mm X .3mm tip (see Aurora Nibs page for writing samples)
	The OF (Oblique Fine) is a left oblique. It has a .65mm X .25mm tip surface.
	The OFR (Oblique Fine Reverse) is a right oblique. It has a .6 mm X .3 mm tip surface.
	The OM (Oblique Medium) is a left oblique. It has a .7mm X .3 mm tip surface.
	The OMR (Oblique Medium Reverse) is a right oblique. It has a .75 mm X .35 mm tip surface.
	B Broad is a rounded tip that is forgiving in many positions. It has a .6 mm X .6 mm tip surface.
	The OB (Oblique Broad) is a left oblique. It has a .7 mm X .3 mm tip surface.
	The OBR (Oblique Broad Reverse) is a right oblique. It has a .85 mm X .3 mm tip surface.
	BB The Double Broad is rounder but much like the Stub nib. It has a .85 mm X .45 mm tip surface.
	Stub is a rounded chisel shape that gives broad down strokes and narrow cross strokes. It has a .8 mm X .35 mm tip surface.
	IT - Italic is crisper and sharper than a Stub giving more distinct line width variations. It has a .95 mm X .2 mm tip surface.
