The Pilot Vanishing Point is a cartridge-converter pen - it can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter, and can also use Pilot-Namiki brand ink cartridges.
The rhodium trim acts as a horizon line. The raden rectangles, stacked one on top of the other, mirror, top and bottom, the way calm water reflects what is above. Adding to this effect, the refractions from the raden intensifies the effect, changing color as the pen is rotated. This pen has to be held in the hand to be fully experienced.
