Nakaya Yatate

"Yatate" (pronounced Yah-tah-teh) means a "portable writing set" which traditionally contains a bamboo brush and sumi ink. Nakaya has imitated this shape and made a Yatate especially for the fountain pen. The inside of the case is covered with soft cloth to prevent damage. The butterfly shaped magnolia or black persimmon wood Netsuke also functions as a pen pillow. The pen case can also be personalized with kanji lettering.
